So basically I have realized that my feelings for T have become way too intrusive and obsessive and I'd really like to try a new T. Also current T does mainly dbt and id like to try a new kind of therapy.
My problem is, my pdoc and current T are in the same therapy group, so if I ask pdoc for a new T recommendation, the new one would also likely be in the same group. I'm also scared of feeling bad for abandoning current T or making her feel bad thinking that she isn't good for me. I could probably get over those feelings, but if I were to see her while waiting for pdoc or a new T, I'd probably die.
Anyway. Any advice on this switching process?
