That you have your seizures under control is a real plus! And I am sorry that the accident has given you PTSD. Are you seeing a therapist for that? Perhaps there is medication that could help also?
What happened to you two days ago would shock anybody.
There is a sort of radical approach you could take which is simply getting into the car when it is parked at home and letting all of the anxious feelings come. Don't try to get rid of them but simply say to yourself I am experiencing them and then watch them as they go out of your mind and you can keep doing that till they stop which they will. Also, even when doing that you can start to notice things in your environment which would help to distract your mind and lessen the intensity of the feelings.
