The couch is in the middle with a chair facing it on either side. I used to sit on the side of the couch farthest from T's chair, now I sit on the other side of the couch and occasionally we 'kick' each other because I'm so close. Some days her chair is closer to the couch and some days it's farther away. I've often wondered why it moves. I asked the other day, I think that's the only time she hasn't answered one of my questions.
