I know that this is a little late....Abilify gave my partner a speedy effect where it gave me brain zaps and headaches.

Abilify is an atypical antipsychotic, so it shouldn't drive you hypomanic, but the opposite.

Since this all began when you started taking, I'd much rather say it's a bad side effect to the drug. I can't take most antipsychotics because I have bad reactions to them, from cold sweats, brain zaps, pass out, no sleep, vivid dreams, nightmares, over sleeping, etc.

Me myself would ask for another AP. The Respiradal 1mg PRN is the most that I can tolerate....and I don't even take that.
