OH what anxiety!!!!

But then... Retrievers that age will EAT anything! Just ask about my 9 month old labradoodle and the whereabouts of my wooden rocking chair!!!!

I hope your puppy feels better soon, and that nothing more comes of this.

I'm glad you took him to the vet. My taking Caleb to the vet just before the recalls of the IAMS foods and stuff, probably was what saved his life, even though they didn't find any cause for his barfing... once the recalls occurred, then they realized what it probably was. I bought into the plan so that I never have to think about what it will cost to treat my puppy... and just take him.

Puppies might try to eat too much food and distend their tummies... and with large breed dogs that can cause the stomach to begin to twist, but I don't know enough about this to know if it causing barfing.

I am waiting to hear if your vet has any more ideas on why the puppy barfed.
