Unfortunately I don't have any advice because I am the same way. I'm not worried about whether people know bc my son is only in preschool and he's in a new one so no one there knows me. But I am terrible at making social connections and I'm already having anxiety over his birthday party in November. I've never thrown him a birthday party with other kids before but this is his fifth birthday so I feel like it's time. Anyway it terrifies me to have to talk to other parents at this party and I don't even know what I'm doing yet.
