Good luck with the new job!

The whole employment/job search thing really does seem to be stacked against the employee sometimes. I had one boss who kept asking me if I was happy, if the job was a good fit. One day I was honest: the job was not what I wanted. That was a really bad move on my part - I was branded after that and they did everything they could to hurry me out the door.

So, don't feel bad about starting the process of getting a new job without telling your boss. It's just the nature of the beast. Hopefully no one knows anything for sure. You are smart to keep your job while you are going through this interview process.
