My old one used to sometimes say snappish or mean things when she was in a bad mood. Things like "if you worry all the time about losing people, you'll end up all alone," or "did you expect me to be at the hospital with you?" When I was hurt she didn't answer my text for almost a week after surgery. It was painful since I am very sensitive and I loved her.
