It isn't totally as gone as I would hope but I know it will be in time. However, what made the difference is I finally reached a point where I just gave up and said 'I don't care' to my brain, I just let it basically think what it wanted to think. After that the fear of fighting against the thoughts just gave way and I now have a handle on it. I even handled a sharp knife the other day for the first time in months.
