Is it okay to take a week off from therapy? I'm feeling really overwhelmed by everything going on, and it seems like I always leave therapy with more awareness of my issues and what I need to work on than I do when I arrive (not a bad thing! Just overwhelming). I feel like I need a little more time to digest everything from my last session and think it through before I meet with my therapist again. Is there anything wrong with calling my therapist tomorrow (my session isn't until Wednesday) and explaining how I'm feeling and telling her I would like to just plan on skipping this week and seeing her again the following week?
