I've been wearing glasses since I was 7 years old. The horror of my life was introduced when I was 9. My father didn't want to risk, my expensive glasses being broken, so he got me sport glasses. They had thick black rubber frames, a wide rubber nose piece that bent, and were held on by elastic bands. I thought I'd been teased about glasses before, nothing compared to when the school kids saw these beauties.
