Like I mentioned previously, it is common for ADHD to be comorbid with Aspergers.
As far empathy is concerned, there are a couple of aspects that are affected. One aspect is the ability to see the world from another persons perspective. Another, which is more emotional in nature, is the ability to imagine what the other is feeling, as well as caring about their pain as a result.
