Why would you tell someone so soon , it does not make sense. You are perfectly entitled to have secrets. I know trust in a T is important but I think he is wrong here. You work , you have your own money & independence , its not like this guy is getting a raw deal ...

The fact of the matter is he needs to find out eventually. The longer you leave it then as you said the more it seems like you have hidden it & he may not trust you after. Also if I'm right you are not dx with schizophrenia so you don't have to use that word which has a lot of stigma associated with it... he might be more understanding & accepting of general psychosis. There's only one way to find out though, if it's meant to be, it's meant to be... I'm sure it'll also be a load of your mind to get it out in the open. 
You could always test the water & ask what he thinks about mental health problems before opening up. |
