(((discover))) I used to have the same experiences. They were so bad I'd get anxious when I knew bed time was coming. Somewhere along the line with numerous medication changes those fears vanished. I'm Bipolar as well. I also keep a fan on in my room to help sooth me to sleep along with a sleeping pill and an antianxiety. I hope this helps you in some small way.
