Do feel resistance to the subjects you are learning?
For instance, classes that I am not excited about, or that I don't see the point in just feel like busy work to me. Even classes that might serve a purpose, but don't look like they will tie in with my current focus or goals become a source of internal resistance for me.

I'm in school for my bach in IT too. Some of the classes have formats that I struggle with and resent when school usually comes so easy for me. For instance, one of my classes is presented with video tutorials, which I despise because I hate having to sit there and listen to people talk to get the info I need. They just waste time going over what I need in order to complete the assignment. If it was a book I could skim to the section that has the specific topic I'm looking for, and if it was a live person I could interrupt them to ask very focused questions that are about the exact information I am missing that will enable me to proceed. Since the entire class format is videos I now have to either waste crazy amounts of time listening for what I need to complete an assignment, or I have to go spend the money for a supplemental book that the class doesn't provide, or try to google topics that seem relevant in the hope that I will hit on the right topic, even when I'm not completely sure what the question is because I don't have the correct vocabulary to know how to ask what topic I am struggling with. I recognize my resistence is to the format of the class, so I am currently looking into supplemental websites and books that will assist me on learning the material for the final exam.

It might require adjusting your outside learning style to adapt for the class. It might be that you aren't able to deal with something in your personal life and you feel too guilty over not being able to deal with that to feel like you can focus on everything else you need to get done, but since you aren't in a position to deal with that you just don't deal with anything. It could be that you aren't getting enough sleep, or because you have a health problem that you haven't completely realized but your body has and it is generating anxiety. It could be anything causing this.

You might need to isolate the stressors in your life to see what is most likely to be the cause of what your brain is trying to focus on instead of school, deal with that, and then work on a plan for school. In the interim, until you isolate the issue that is not being dealt with. You might try to do your homework in small sweeps. Read your book until you can't focus, mark the section where your eye slides off the page and make a note of what topic you keep stonewalling on. If it turns out the topic is what is bringing you up short then you can go to the teacher to get help with that particular concept or look it up to see if there's another way to absorb the material. I like books coupled with practical demonstrations where I can ask questions. I hate listening to lectures and watching videos where I can't skip information that is unrelated or going to needlessly cloud the issue for me. That will depend on your learning style, but maybe shorter study sessions more often will help you feel like you aren't wasting your time because you can see what else you are accomplishing with the time you aren't using on studying?

I don't know. I feel like I'm having a similar issue this semester and I'm still working on my own work arounds. Let us know if you come up with a better game plan.
