- a ton of icelandic music (mostly Sigur Rós) that i listen to without having any idea what it means
- archaic 70s stuff like Styx, Supertramp, 3 Dog Night, CSN, ELP, GFR, GD, etc etc
- stuff i'm kinda too old for, like Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, and Stuck in the Sound
- kinda maudlin stuff, like The Smiths, and Patsy Cline, and Starsailor.. Elliott Smith and the like
- ethereal ravy stuff like Sasha & John Digweed, and Robert Miles, and LTJ Bukem
- a cajillion Depeche Mode remixes, and another cajillion Radiohead ones
- music i deeply appreciate but can hardly listen to without getting a headache, like Ministry, and Skinny Puppy, and DKs
- stuff barely anyone i know comprehends, like Diamanda Galas
- an abnormally complete collection of Brian Eno's massive discography
not actually embarrassed by any of this, just aware that many of these things are open to misinterpretation, depending on the company :-)

Like a veil thrown over the skin to secure its modesty, the screen partially removes from the mind the inner states of the body, those that constitute the flow of life as it wanders in the journey of each day.”
