Ok my brother has just got out from hospital after being sectioned for psychosis.

He had Hallucinations, Delusions, lack of insight and self-awareness and paranoia, the doctor said it was brung on due to so much stress as his girlfriend nearly died. She has now made a full recovery and they are both at home.

He was released last night and I saw him today and he seemed mostly back to his normal self, none of the symptoms before he went in, the only thing is he still believes what happened/saw was all real. He has been giving meds to take and the doctor said he wants him to take them for at least 6 months but my brother is refusing.

Does my brother need to take them? Will he relapse if he does not? Or now he is not stressed out will he be ok?
