I've self taught myself some psychology solely for the sake of learning to influence and manipulate people better. I'm also considering getting a college degree in persuasive psychology along with a MBA in order to become better at influencing clients/customers in the business world.
Psychology for the sake of being a psychologist? No thank you. Too much work and not enough of a reward for my interests; degrees in business or even a Bachelor's in a technical field pay more in a fraction of the time that it takes to become a psychologist.
