During a spree of overspending, I charged some amazon purchases to my employers card instead of my own. I had their card filed on my account because a) my employer had asked me to place online orders for them in order to take advantage of my amazon prime & b) amazon automatically saves any payment you use.
Once the mistake was realized, I had them take the funds from my paycheck & they've been reimbursed in full. They're currently debating whether or not to let me go. They don't consider me to be easily replaceable, but have valid concerns.
I had disclosed my condition w/ in the first week of starting there. They seem to have trouble understanding how someone could spend so much without realizing where it's coming from.
Thoughts? Support? Any possible recourse I may have if I am terminated?
