It took me awhile to figure out how to deal with my overly curly hair, but my conclusion is to just feed your hair nutrients both internally and topically. I made a daily moisturizing spray made of apple cider vinegar, aloe vera, water, and a very small amount of honey (the apple cider vinegar smell goes away when drying (if there is a smell from the spray)). I also got rid of my plastic comb in favor of an ox horn one (as long as your hair is dry when you comb it, there's less hair fall and damage). It also helps to get a protein shampoo and to set your hair dryer on the cool setting (or just use the air conditioner), it's easier to avoid heat damage though it can take a little longer to dry after a wash.
Thanks for this!
