I have finally found the right combination of products that typically keep my hair from looking like an exploding poodle.
I use Verb products . Not very pricey but good quality .
I suds up once, Apply conditioner and let set about 5 mins and rinse out and rinse out again. Wrap in a towel, wait 15-20 mins unwrap spray on the leave in conditioner. I only wash my hair twice a week, but more if its super hot and humid.
I deep condition once a week.
I allow my hair to towel dry as much as possible.
I either let it just air dry and use a dry hair oil to just smooth over. Or I do a quick blow out using a a round brush that leaves some wave or I do the blow out then follow up with my flat iron. I mostly air dry. My hair is grateful
I hate the feel of "products " in my hair and my current stuff is weightless and smells wonderful.
Lastly and this is a must , I use a small amount of the ghost hair oil, just a few drops is all that's needed to tame daily.
This is the products I use :
Verb hydrating shampoo 14.00
condition 14.00
Leave in conditioner spray 14.00
Daily Ghost oil 14.00
Hairspray 14.00
There brushes 14.00
Yes everything is 14.00 each . It is a great product line. I cant tell you how many bottles of stuff that I bought and found either useless or too heavy or too harsh for my hair.
It takes forever to go through the leave in condition, oil and hairspray. Shampoo and condition last me about 4 weeks each ( I dont wash daily as that just strips my color treated hair to death), so really its rather cheap compared to all the drugstore crap I use to buy.
No I don't own stock in this company, I just like quality products that actually work for me.
I finally learned really the less I do to my hair the better it looks.. I dont know how my hair survived the 80's

to be honest. Big permed frosted hair?? ACK !!! hahaha
