I was wondering if there are any mental health advocates in your area that could push your case for you? You do have the option of going to your member of Parliament to see if you can get a better quality of service. Just keep asking your GP to refer you to another consultant as soon as possible. I hope and pray everything does get much better for you soon. Take care. God bless and best wishes from your friend Francis

Hi Francis,
The GP was recommended to me by that awful MHN. So, I'm going to look into other GPs as when I've been to him about something he would always say that I'd need to see my consultant and when I eventually got an appt with the Consultant he told me that my GP should've helped me. It's very frustrating.
I actually got an appt through from my new consultant yesterday (Saturday) for beginning of Oct. but, it's taken over 3 months. I'll see what this one is like but, I won't be taking any nonsense.
