I am definitely depressed more. honestly I feel kind of like depression is my natural state of being. I wasn't always this way, I was much more high energy (I don't believe I was ever manic but definitely hypo) with occasional depressions, then in my mid twenties the depression started sticking around and the up times were few and far between. I remember thinking why did I become this way, what changed, and how can I get back to feeling up again? To me being "up" was "normal" and the depression was really hard for me to get my head around. Nowadays, since my late twenties, depression is a lot more common for me and the "up" times are always a little surprising to me.
