Peg~ We used to raise chickens too. Some were laying hens and some were uhmmm I hate saying it.. eatin chickens. I love chicken.. I just didnt want to be a part of their .... well you know. When my husband and his famdamily did this .. I'd try to have an excuse not to be there. Finally they got the drift that I couldnt handle the whole thing. Of course his grandma had to tell me her view on that.. and I never heard the end of it. UGH I didnt like her at all!!!!

I am sorry didnt mean to highjack your thread here.. But this farm girl knows about the lost chickens and oinkers too. They used to get loose once in awhile .. that wasnt good at all Especially being on a busy road EEEEKS!!!

Glad the one came back for ya... and I hope you can find the other one too!!! Wonder if there are chicken hearders like there are sheep hearders? hmmmmm Might need to ask Muffy about that one lol
