Yeah, it does. Life insurance companies won't cover for a death by suicide. It's not considered an accident thus, they won't cover it. And even if you don't have life insurance, your selfishly expecting your family to pay for funerary expenses just because you didn't want to (or felt like you couldn't) handle your problems.

Not to mention how devastated and guilt ridden they would feel over your death. It is more burdensome to them to leave them feeling guilty and responsible for your death, than to simply ask for the help you need and get said help.
