the "friend" showed up at the end of the long driveway about 10:30 last night. i was in the house, here, and just felt like i should go outside. i saw his profile and slipped behind some bushes (imagine me, i wished for black paint and black clothes) and eased around behind the rectory and saw that it was him for sure.

i called the cops and they came, but didn't find him. i'm feeling a bit "stalked" now. they patrolled all night and flashed a spotlight on the house to let me know they were here..........
