For us yes it is, sometimes minute to minute moment to moment...depending on what's happening. It was like 18 years of trauma and being in a mental cage that caused this. When I was a teenager, a 8 year old had better social/life skills. Being made timid and scared of life, everything made me dissociate causing an other to step up and learn that skill or job. Anything from just talking, emotions, reactions, events, jobs,....I was like a 18 year old baby trying to figure out how to be a person.
Enviroment triggers, like the workers do work, the homebodies do home, the shoppers love to shop, the cook cooks, the drivers drive...if it's a job, we have an alter for that.
Being co-con, it's really weird. We switch seamlessly for most...but at times I dissociate which is a jolt to the system and someone quickly takes over because I'm just out of it...this happens to everybody.
The body is like an empty shell and we others give it life.
