I'm sorry to hear that. It is something that I would assume others would throw for you rather than the other way around. If you want to have a party, then I say go for it and hope that everyone shows up, at least the people who matter to you. If you think you'd have a better time celebrating in some other way by yourself then I don't think there's anything wrong with that either. Making yourself happy is more important than trying to get people to show up.
