Well, Patty, I found the love of my life when I was young -- but I was middle aged when I realized how selfish and stubborn I was to break up that marriage -- and it turned out to be too late.

I think you will find your way. Right now, I am listening to Caroline Myss's CD set about Archetypes and reading Jung and Jungians -- and it is giving me a better sense of myself in middle age.
