Previous research by Energy Australia revealed 29 per cent of us hit the shower twice daily, while 9 per cent boasted three showers a day. Compare this to the shower-shy Chinese: 50 per cent claim to wash twice a week, while in Sweden less than 50 per cent of women bother with a daily wash.

The Science Of Showering: Why Showering Too Much Is Bad For You

Its only been fairly recently in human history that we have taken to bathing daily.

Washing hands is far more important in this day and age.

I know personally my cystic acne was MUCH worse if cleansed once or twice a day. I was told my only option was dangerous medication and harsh chemicals. I stopped cleansing with EVERYTHING (and I had tried 100's of different products), used rose hip on my skin and it has completely cleared up. I havent even used rose hip for 6 months and my skin is the best it has ever been.

I am now complimented on my skin and hair - which is strange considering my hygine is MUCH worse now, but spray on scent on my clothes seems to have everyone complimenting on smell too...

I felt guilty on my first reply, but now Im realising I know what works for me and what is best for my skin.
