I talked to my employer about it recently and worked it out where I can call in and take the day off if it is too severe. It's kind of a weight off my shoulders. Even though bipolar is covered by the ADA I have to be careful with my work performance. There are ways employers can get around it. I'm glad I'm not the only one dealing with this! Misery loves company!
