Thanks to therapy I'm more in touch with my emotions.
Before I used to mostly feel anger, whenever I was sad, scared, disgusted, etc. The one emotion coming out was anger, always. That's because the onyl emotion that was really allowed in my parents's house was anger. So I replicated that.
Now I can recognize when I'm actually sad or scared. I'm more aware.
That may seem like a small thing but it's huge for me.
