Someone you have on ignore, you have on ignore for your purposes; it has nothing whatsoever to do with the person you have on ignore. What you do with your own posting, whether you post to people on ignore or read what they write or whatever, if your business. If the person you have on ignore does not want to hear from you, they'll put you on ignore, that's not about the ignored one. It's not a punishment or rule or anything, it's a feature/convenience for managing one's own stuff.
