hi everyone!

I've wondered if someone could recomend me good books about anxiety disorders/social anxiety and related research/therapy. The more technical the better!

I've been battleing with various sorts of problems - mostly social anxiety related panics and depression - low self esteem and all kind of bad things that I got myself into because of these.
I can not afford therapy and the health care isn't the best here, however cheap/free it is... (yes, I've tryed)... So I started to study and apply certain though patterns and therapy techniques on myself - however possible it was from an introspective view... And in a retrospective I've made pretty good progress! (I was unable to ask for help for example in a shop a few years ago, or travell on a bus or talk to schoolmates/small talk ect... Now I'm muchmuch better off with these)
That made me realize that one of the things I've been strugleing with is really just an open door in front of me; I couldn'T decide on what profession I should be studying/getting a degree.... So I wanna be a psychologist.... I couldn't get in the school was avileable here, so I'm planing to move....
However being sociophobic, depressed and having problems with social situations such as a bad/demanding/hierarchical work space doesn't help me....
I would really need some advise on how to start to study on these issues... eighter for academical curiousity and/or self help....
soooo... if you didn't got confused by my confusion (lol) I'd be happy for any ideas!
