my location calls this being co conscious.

there is also a new dissociative disorder...the American Psychiatric Association now includes a dissociative disorder for those whose whole or majority of their internal system of alters is like this, in other words with less than marked discontinuity in functioning, memory loss, loss of time and other dissociative symptoms....the new diagnostic label is OSDD (other Specified Dissociative Disorder) and sometimes UDD (unspecified dissociative disorder) is used. you can read about these in my link at the bottom of my post. your treatment provider can also tell you about these new diagnostic labels and whether they apply to you and your situation.
