I'm more likely to keep a promise to a person I have a close relationship with. However I feel there is an awful lot of resentment between me and most of the people I have close relationships with, whether it's deserved or not, so I'm likely to not keep promises because I'm PO'd over something that probably has nothing to do with them. I'm not even that good at keeping promises to myself... I don't know exactly why I'm (somewhat) better at keeping promises to my T. I think it has to do with the desire to make him proud of me in the way I never could really be bothered with when it came to my parents. I was happier disappointing them somehow. I still don't like it when my mother says she's proud of me...
