I am on provincial disability assistance. It's not much. Operating my car takes about $150 a month and really is a big expense I find hard to justify (I can get a subsidized bus pass for $30). I do a lot of walking everywhere. But, the car gives me freedom and allows me to live an aactive lifestyle [I hike, I kayak, etc].

As we approach winter I am left with some major car expenses. Definitely new tires and a few mechanical issues too. I have a small amount of savings and a credit card. Do I invest in this car? Or do I park it and remove the plates until I can make a decision come spring?
That's a tough decision, maybe wait until spring and leave it alone for now?
