Pretty standard for jobs that are important or confidential. I've been on a couple recorded interviews, even been on a recorded lie detector test...that one sucked. Its probably being recorded for HR or for someone who makes the official hiring decision. I highly doubt they keep it for very long. There really wouldn't be a point for that.
