i thought that ibogaine was for treating addiction? are you worried about the withdrawal from narcotics or about the fact that you have nothing to treat the headaches?

ibogaine is for withdrawal and the psychological effects of opiate addiction, i thought?? unless you are hoping that ibogaine will get rid of your tolerance so that the meds work... that would make sense... sounds like the other replies, also, were concerned more with addiction itself.

of course, as others mentioned, it is possible to get off, but getting rid of a painkiller obviously will not get rid of your pain.

being on methadone was hell for me... are you on a super high dose? its amazing to me how much more careful docs are with prescribing narcotics to pain patients then they are to opiate addicts.
