You might be better off waiting until your cold is gone at least before you stop, or try stop for a day or two and see what happens. If it gets worse it's probably not the best time to stop.

I'm in the same boat anyway, which sucks because I'm only after a bad cold and it seems it's back. I hope you feel better soon!
Thanks. Hope you are feeling better soon too... having two colds back-to-back sounds awful!

It's not that I'm going to try giving up smoking it's just that if my asthma starts to play up, smoking is the last thing I should be doing.... therefore taking a break from smoking until things are better might be a good idea.

Strangely enough though, I've never developed a cough when quitting smoking. I guess it's just one of those things... some people do & others don't.

Sucks that you got all ready for a day out then had to cancel... we'll do our best to keep you entertained though!
