I was first going to answer that she doesn't take notes any more, but then I remembered telling her last week about a physical condition and what I was taking for it, and she had written it down because she'd never heard of it before (the thing I was taking). I don't get the sense that she remembers what she writes down, though, or that she goes back to look at her notes, so I don't really understand the note taking thing at all. A while back, I asked her what she'd written down and it was 3 random things I'd mentioned (a tv series and two other things not related to anything). I haven't asked again.

I take notes, though. And I refer to them during the week or during the next session.
