For those who are new to this site, you can read some of what I contend with regarding my disability insurance and attorney under the thread Continuous fear and stress... something like last June I think...

Well here's the very latest:

The opposition made an offer through my attorney, I haven't bothered to even acknowledge receipt: it was $100,000. That doesn't even cover what they spend on me for ONE YEAR!

Now there have been other stuff going on, they won't authorize a pain MD, consult is $350. But they "sent" me to a pain center for inpatient treatment (must be $10,000) of course I can't do it, and even if I could I don't know I would: they obviously pay them off to "send me back to work" which I can't do (honest) but then they would have their "experts" saying to...

Today I received a letter from my regular MD: they have quit paying her... and the MD has requested I pay the bill. (Well, of course both of these actions are illegal, but I won't hold it against the MD, I'm just not paying it, I'm not legally allowed to pay it.)

They recently DE authorized my eye care professional, then my attorney sent me a letter saying that I don't have an authorized doctor supporting my eye care needs! They have to have a judge's ok to DEauthorized someone, but they won't pay and I would have too and they already owe me over $15,000 I can't recoup until the hearing... which I've never had!

Nothing like kicking someone when they're down... pain flare should MUST end soon or I will end it.
