Sadly, it gave me the dreaded akathisia, as I see it's done to a few people. Akathisia is the agony of feeling simultaneously sedated and incredibly restless. Well, it was for me. Basically, no matter how you sit, stand, lie or lean, you are simply not able to get comfortable.

That being said, it is prescribed for the symptoms you describe with apparent high efficacy. So it is definitely worth a try. Worst case scenario you catch the onset of akathisia early and try find something else.
