Yes and no. In order to mend the rupture, I had to let a lot of stuff go. So did she I think, but at was her own countertransference and not part of my therapy... Ultimately we didn't make a good dyad. Too much stuff there. It hurt, terminating with her, but it was for the best. I remember her saying that repair like that doesn't usually happen. I was a bit blown away by that, but as time passes I understand better.
