DI woke up 4 in the morning with non stop intrusive thoughts about work and life challenges. Then I say to myself I'm going to apply some of the well-being concepts I've learned, and non seam to put me back to sleep: I try remembering nice places but the feeling doesn't go away, I try mantra chanting don't feel much change, I try pretending to separate myself from the thoughts maybe laugh at them or ridicule them. And not much improves.. Actually I'm not so clear how you distance myself from the thoughts. How do you visualize yourself without thoughts? What am I supposed to visualze?
