My 70 year old father raised his fist to my face. Why? Because I told my child to do their homework. Because I told my child to stay off of their phone. Because I told my child to do something, get ready. And my child did not like that I told them to do that, so they put up a fuss.

And of course its my fault if my child screams and yells. I am a horrible parent.

So within one minute I am told I am a slob (which has nothing to do with the situation) and hit in face, and pointed at, yelled at, told I can do nothing right, its all my fault, etc etc. etc. Oh and then sent to my room!

Yes I am 44 years old. But maybe I am really 12.

Is that abuse?
