Music doesn't help everyone. For me it would sometimes. But I always took a Ativan and self-talk. I know what I've been through and what I've overcome I just need to remind myself of these things when times get tough. I'm in a similar situation. I've filed for disability and I need it so bad. My case manager told me things looked real good but still I worry. I had to tell myself to calm down and hold on and just pray. I'm not religious but I believe in prayer. I hope some of this helps u
