Everyone is differeont this is true. When I go into a depression my doc had suggested an antidepressant but I refused. I wanted to handle it naturally with my antipsychotic. I know meds help, but I would rather be on as less meds as possible,

Anyway to answer your question, yes people with bipolar can be given antidepressants.
