I think that whenever we pay for a service, we have to think was it worth it.

My 5 + years of psychoanalysis was pricey. In many ways, I would say, no, it wasn't worth the financial price.

But, I learned so much about why I am the way I am and why and how I think about myself and my relationships. I'm not sure what price or cost can be tied to that knowledge.

I'm not really sure.

I was very close to my therapist. Very secure in my relationship with her. It just took me a very long time to realize that I wasn't going to have the relationship with her that I thought I wanted.

It was very complex, for me.
