Angelwngs25, Sounds lovely! I hope you have a wonderful All Hallows' Eve.
I don't get trick or treaters at the house anymore, the kids are all grown and gone, so no candy to pass out. I so miss it. However, we are getting to dress up for Halloween at work, a contest even between the sites and individual costumes and I could sure use y'alls help.
Our site's theme that they picked was the 'holidays', that you can represent any holiday; well, I just love Halloween and cannot imagine doing any other, traditionalist, maybe, but especially with my love of pumpkins, it just has to be Halloween for me. I am also not concerned about this competition, I just think it would be fun to be out of my scrubs.

but also don't want to embarrass myself.
However, it is not in the budget to do much and I am SO not very creative, but I am going with what I have, which has started out with a black witches hat and black broomstick; it may be boring but it is something I have on hand. So I am going with being a witch of some kind, perhaps just a cute Halloween witch. However by going as a witch, not meaning any offense to Wiccans, this is not my intent, please forgive me if I have offended.
In addition to the hat and broomstick, I found the cutest hand blown glass jar pin that looks like it has potion in it but it has a frog on it with a black hat on that matches mine. I have pumpkin earrings, pumpkin necklace, a big spider/bat and/or pumpkin charm bracelets for each wrist. I have some boots that are perfect.
Just not sure what to wear. I could go all black (black top or long black layered skirt) or I have a tied-died long skirt that is black/gray/white that looks almost like it has spider webs with a black top. What do y'all think?
Any other inexpensive ideas to add? Does this sound dorky or will it be ok to represent a Halloween witch?
